Roti Bank Hyderabad
Roti Bank Hyderabad was started in Aug 2020 when the pandemic was rampant, inspired by Roti Foundation Mumbai which was started by D. Sivanandhan IPS (retired former Commissioner of Police Mumbai and Director General Police Maharashtra).
Roti Bank Hyderabad, run by Aruna Bahuguna IPS (retired former Director General Police) is a non profit food rescue organization that bridges the gap between the less fortunate hungry and the fortunate, aiming to eliminate hunger and malnutrition.
The functioning of the NGO is simple. Freshly cooked hot meals consisting of rice, dal, vegetables and a fruit, are distributed through a van to the needy within the limits of Greater Hyderabad. Every day the meals are distributed in a different area so as to cover wider areas and sections of the population. Construction workers, women and children, attendants at hospitals and other needy persons are the recipients.

ROTI BANK IN HYDERABAD.
Hyderabad, one of the top cities of India is the capital of Telangana and home to some of the largest companies. But the other aspect of the city is that a huge chunk of the population is deprived of food and shelter. There are many people in Hyderabad who do not have access to regular meals and are forced to sleep on an empty stomach. We request you for your support to provide food to these people.
Aruna Bahuguna

Aruna Bahuguna is a former member of the Indian Police Service who served as the Director of the Sardar
Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy. She was the first woman IPS officer in the State of Telangana /
Andhra Pradesh.
Presently, she is serving as the Emeritus Resource Faculty at the Rashtriya Raksha
University, Trustee of the Sarvodaya International Trust Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chapter, and President
of the Hyderabad Poetry Society. As the managing trustee of the Roti Bank Hyderabad, she strives to reach out
to the needy, destitute, disadvantaged, and less fortunate, adults and children.
Mr. J. Raymond Peter

J. Raymond Peter is the Managing Director, of Sentini Bio Products Pvt. Ltd and Sentini Bio-Spirit Pvt. Ltd.
He joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1984 and was allotted to the then AP Cadre and belongs to the
Telangana Cadre after the state was formed.
He has held several positions in Government as Assistant
Collector, East Godavari, Sub Collector Gudur, Deputy Commissioner Excise, Joint Secretary to the Governor,
Joint Collector Srikakulam, Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister, Collector Mahbubnagar, Secretary
Irrigation, CMD, AP Tourism Development Corporation, Principal Secretary Social Welfare, Rural Development,
Rural Water Supply, Commissioner Transport, Special Chief Secretary Panchayat Raj and Rural Development and
Special Chief Secretary & Chief Commissioner Land Administration.
He has drafted a law on participatory
irrigation management which is recognized worldwide and also drafted the first law on SC & ST Sub Plan. He has
pioneered several e-Governance Measures in Government in the transformative computerization of the Transport,
Social Welfare, Rural Development, and land administration departments. He has been an avid advocate for
e-Governance in Government. He has worked at the World Bank Washington DC and has visited several countries
through its missions. He is also the President of the Home for Handicapped, Jeera, Secunderabad.

to the Andhra Pradesh cadre. From 1983 to 2016, he held various positions as detailed below:
1983 - 1995: District Administration experience. Discharged functions as Sub-Collector, Joint Collector, and
District Collector in nine districts of Andhra Pradesh. Handled regulatory, welfare, and development
administration.
1995 - 1996: Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation managed
public distribution system and procurement of paddy and other essential commodities.
1996 - 1998: Private Secretary to Union Minister for Rural Development, Government of India, New Delhi.
Assisted the Union Minister in the administration of the Department of Rural Development, Rural Drinking
Water, and Sanitation.
1998 - 2002: Secretary to Hon’ble Speaker, Lok Sabha, New Delhi. Advised and assisted the Hon’ble Speaker, Lok

Percy Homi Italia is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and also a graduate member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants (England and Wales). Before establishing ITALIA & ASSOCIATES LLP, he was in London working as Senior Group Manager with an International Firm of Accountants, Spicer, and Oppenheim (now Deloitte Touche). He has been involved in advice to his clients on Project Finance, Taxation, FEMA, and Company Law matters. Percy Homi Italia was a member of the Andhra Pradesh State Minorities Commission for three years and he is on the National Board of Genetic Counseling - India as its Honorary Treasurer. He is also acting as the trustee of the Roti Bank Hyderabad.

Pavan Solanki is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom. He has been associated with the Firm Italia & Associates LLP since October 2008 joining as an intern and was eventually inducted as a partner in the firm. He has also attended Advanced Leadership Programme in 2019, a residential course offered by the Indian Institute of Management. Pavan has worked with various enterprises in the industries of Consulting, Software Development, Healthcare, Engineering, Insurance, Manufacturing, Construction, Agricultural, Genetics, Consumer Finances, Educational institutions, and Entertainment. Currently, he is also been part of the Roti Bank Hyderabad as a trustee.

Pranay Bahuguna is a graduated with BA Economics degree from Loyola College, Chennai, B.Ed from Osmania University and LLB from Osmania University. Earlier in his career, he worked as an Account Executive in Black Coffee Advertising and Mc Cann Advertising Agency in Bangalore. At present, he is a practicing Advocate in the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad, Telangana.
